Yes, I’m posting after.....so long!

First of all, I know some of you sent me pictures to edit and I told you I’d do it but so many things have been going on that I just forgot/needed a rest from the blog world.

I don’t think I’m going back to Blossom Memories as it was. I can help you out every now and then and edit your photos though =) But I don’t think I’m going back there. It was fun, I enjoyed it but I love perfection and I’m impatient so I hate make people wait and It made me get frustrated LOL.

So what have I done all this time??

I’m going to tell you...

- Had my pre-college tests in June. It was a crazy week but you kinda have fun with that many people =)

- Had my High School graduation. My mom’s aunt is a professional seamstress and she made my dress after a La Perla dress I loved =) (I really can’t afford a La Perla dress lol).

- This Summer I worked for the local Theatre as an extra. I worked for the Opera Tannhäuser and the Ballet A summernight’s dream (with the Hungary Ballet).

- I got half my car licence (Here in Spain you have to make a theory test and then a practice test, well I got my theory test =))

- I’m in love. He’s the sweetest boy ever and he kinda spoils me way too much =)

- I’m starting college soon. Nursing School =) There has been some crazy stuff about the applications...I’ll have to move to another island to study but hopefully I get accepted here soon. I’m excited =)

So I promised and here you go.
First update: Sonya's pictures! :) (Private blog)

I enjoyed doing these, specially the scrapbook wallpaper thing! I hadn't noticed I was missing all my editing and graphics stuff!
I know you all wonder why I hadn't posted in so long, well actually I don't really have a big explanation about it, summer kept me busy and then school started and I wasn't feeling like editing or posting myself, thought I check up all your blogs everyday and try to contact you as often and I can!

Well, now I'm back and I'll try to post some more pictures today If I can, I'm going out with my friends today (You can say I deserve it, I spent all day at the library studying yesterday, geez, that was frustrating LOL--->Just found some pictures of last may, taken by my friend's phone, in the library that week we spent all afternoons, and sometimes mornings studying physics, ugh...you can see them HERE, HERE and HERE)

So I came online to check a few things and decided I should post. I've got some comments and emails asking what's up with me, so I'm posting!.

*Well, on Saturday morning I'll get on these pictures that are waiting since forever in my laptop and edit them, because:
1)I'm really feeling I should post.
2) I'm not feeling very responsible letting them waiting for so long (and TRUST me I love being responsible LOL)
and 3) I want to edit some :)
This time It's true really LOL. I'll be posting some new pictures on Saturday.

So, I've started back school and It's my last year...I think that actually I'd be a Junior there? But here I'd be a Senior (is it?) since we have just 2 years of High School.
Well, they're already killing me LOL. I have 4 exams coming these 2 weeks and I'm spending most of my Fridays studying at the library (and I'm thinking I'll have to go there this Sunday as well, which is sad LOL).

Anyway, things are going pretty well around here, just kinda stressed out, but it's like it has to be right?

Well, so I'll be posting new pictures on Saturday, I have to get this blog going again.

Wow...
I know some of you were worried about me for the plane crash. Well that plane crash was in Madrid. That plane was heading here, to the island were I live.
Thanks God, no one in my family was in that plane. We're all alright.
I went to the hotel with my family from thursday until today so that's why I hadn't read any of your email.
I'm really sorry that you all were worried and I didn't answer and also thank you for your concern, you all showed how much you cared.
As for the hotel, I had a great time, but I'm really tired!
Go back to ballet in 1 week, and I still don't know what date starts school...someday in September, LOL. Hope to get the date soon!

Well, I'm sorry for keeping you all worried, I just didn't have access to my email in the past 5 days and when I came online today I got so surprised for the emails and comments I had asking about me and my family.
Again, we're all alright!

Seems like lately all posts are being about myself, LOL, I didn't plan it, really!

O.K. Here are the rules:

Ok..It may be a bit hard LOL... Let me think.

1) I don't drive, In Spain (actually I think It's in Europe) we can't drive until we are 18.

2) I don't like heel-shoes...I don't hate them but I don't use to wear them. Seems like all teenage girls love heels right? Let's say I have like just 4 pairs or something and I use them just for special ocasions LOL. The funny thing is that when I was small I used to get sad if my mom didn't let me go everywhere with my dress-up heel shoes LOL.

3) My friends usually call me their "psycologist" (if you spell it that way) Because each time they have a problem they can talk to me.

4) My first language is Spanish but I read books in english, websites in english and talk in english with some friends...So sometimes I forget words in spanish and tell them in english (You should see my mom's face when that happens LOL)

5) I remember all birthday dates even of old friends but when the day comes I forget about it until I see the date at school or someone tells me what date it is LOL.

6) When I was a kid I loved to be infront of the camera now I love to be the one taking pictures.

7) All my life I've been wanting to go to New York for Christmas...I just think It must be so beautiful there in Christmas.

So..wow, when I got summer holidays I thought that meant FREE-TIME. Oh well, actually I do have free time but, I'm busy all the time! LOL.

Anyway, I'm having a great summer, I thought it would be boring but actually I'm having so much fun :)
I stayed 3 days at a hotel with some friends 2 weeks ago...We swam in the swimming-pool, played volleyball (let's say I didn't play much, I'm not friend of sports LOL) and well, we had fun.

Then It was my brother's birthday and just 4 days later It was my mother's birthday...Me and my brother made an album for my mom with pictures of my grandparents, her brother and all of us...
She really liked it and It kept me busy a few days (I had to go to my grandmother house a few times to get pictures...).
And well..I have been busy going out with friends,going shopping and all these things a teenager uses to do... LOL.

Just before answering the few questions I got I have news that will surprise you LOL. (if you read my last post thought)

So, my best friend, who knows I don't like to read, had been 2 months telling me I should read the Twilight series books. I kept telling her that I don't like to read and She was wasting her time LOL. Well, many of my friends have read these books and kept telling me to read them.
Since It's summer and at mornings I don't have much to do I decided to read them...My friend gave them to me and to my surprise I LOVED them. I read each book in 3/4 days (actually I was done with them in 10 days LOL) You should have seen my mom face when she saw me reading.
Her reaction was "What are you doing???" and me "Uh..reading?" and she was like "Do you have a fever?" LOL...Oh well.
So if you wonder what are the books about let me tell you : Vampires. But No, It's not what you think...It's a romance between a human girl and a oh-so-sweet! Vampire. LOL

Well....After some ramblings let me answer the questions...

Lisa asked: How did you decide what you wanted to be?

Well, actually It's not that I DECIDED. I mean... I love biology and I love everything that goes with it, I don't like chemistry that much but I prefer it over some other things... I knew I didn't want to be a Doctor. Here You must study 6 years of College plus 4 years of practises to become a doctor and no, I don't want to study that many years to finally get a job, I suppose I'm not that patience after all... You need to study 4 years to be a nurse...Plus, my cousin is a nurse and I've seen what she does and I love it :)
Joan asked: When did you get into photo editing? What program do you use?

Well, I use Photoshop CS. My brother talked to me about it and installed it in my laptop. He explained me a few things about how to use it. I used it for fun, and just edited some pictures of me, my friends and my family. But I love it now :)

Tonya asked: What is your favourite animal? What makes you want to be a nurse?

As weird as it sounds, I love Kangaroos LOL. 2 years ago I went with my best friend to that zoo...and there were baby kangaroos, I LOVED them and spent many time watching them.
I also love dolphins I think they are so cute and smart ;)

And well, I just explained how I decided to be a nurse (if That's what I finally do, I'm not 100% sure... Who can be sure what you want to be the rest of your life when you're 17? LOL)

P.S: I added a few pictures of my that my best friend took the other day. We went to the oldest part of the town to take pictures. Hope you like them :)

P.S2: Next month I'm going a few days to a hotel with my parents, my brother and his girlfriend :)

Sooo, I said I'd do a post about me but actually I don't know what to write. So, I thought I would write a bit about me (like an introduction or whatever) and you can ask me questions you want to know (not too personal...). I tried to find a good test in the net that I could answer but all the ones I found were too "teenage person" with silly questions that actually don't mean a thing so....

Here's a bit about me.

I'm 17 years old and I'm Spanish. I live in canary islands so, yes, I live in an island. The funny thing is that I don't like beach that much, lol, and yeah I live near the beach.
I go to High school, next year is my last year (in Spain High School lasts for 2 years) and then I go to university (or College, how you prefer to call it).
I think I want to be a nurse, I'm almost sure about it, for that I have to get good grades and that's why I'm busy all the time studying.
Here we don't move out to College, I repeat, I live in an island so things aren't that far away.
I know to speak spanish and english (and a little bit of french, Let's say I can say my name, my age and what I want to eat, of course, If that's Mcdonalds were I'm ordering, LOL).
I take ballet classes (Oh well, I also know to say more things in french thanks to ballet LOL). I was at ballet for 6 years, I stopped for 2 and now I'm back at it and I love it :)
As you know, I love photography and photo editing.

My favourite movies are: A walk to remember, The Notebook, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare before Christmas, Pirates of the Caribbean (1,2 and 3), Juno, Finding Nemo and my all-time-favourites are Peter Pan, Snowhite and Cinderella (LOL!).

My favourite music groups are: Dashboard Confessional, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the disco, Fall out boy, Interpol, Evanescence, Death Cab For Cutie, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bright Eyes, Brand new, Coldplay, Damien Rice, The Format....

I don't like to read so I don't have favourite books. Don't think that I don't read just because no one has tried me too. When I was small they always gift me many, many books but I just don't like to read. My brother LOVES to read, actually he learnt to read by himself when he was 3 years old (My dad found him reading the newspaper in the kitchen table LOL!!) and he has tried me to read a lot, but I just don't like it :)

I can think of anything else to say so now It's time for you to make questions. As I said before, not too personal questions, I'll make a post answering them :)
By the way, this is me when I was 1 and a half in the picture! I don't like pictures of me very much so I put this one LOL.

Ok, So I had my last exam on Monday but I actually I'm doing two exams (one tomorrow and the other on thursday) because I want to get a higher grade in these subjects. So yeah, I'm doing 2 exams I'm not supposed to do just because I want a higher grade (I must be crazy...).

Well, I have started editing some of the pictures (wow I have some left, and wow you sent me them long ago). When I'm done with these two exams (Thursday) I'll keep editing so by Friday I must have some pictures edited for you.

I hope that by next week I have caught up with pictures and there isn't any left.

When I came home yesterday I had a letter from the post office saying I had to go to get a package that had been sent to me. I had no idea who it was from so this morning me and my mother got dressed and off we went to the post office.

They gave me a box and it was from Alabama! I got so surprised because I had no idea that Denna was going to send me something for my birthday! When I opened the box there was this postcard that said "From: Denna, Courtney, Brooke, Staci and Emilee"

It was soooo sweet from you, really. I got so happy!!! Me and my mother think it was so sweet from you to remember my birthday and to send me a present!!!
By the way, everyone here wants to eat the hershey chocolate balm LOL!!! My brother's girlfriend smelt it and said "Oh my that must taste good" LOL

Thank you so much again! I loved everything, the t-shirts and jacket are so cute and the postcard is so sweet!!!

I saw this pictures at Emilee's blog and I loved them, I used them to try something new, and that's what I got. Hope you like them!!!
When I'm done with aaaall the pictures I have left, I'm sure more people will ask for pictures so here you have something new you might like :)
I'm just trying to make it better for you and for me, so You get new nice things and I don't get bored by doing always the same ;)

It has been a long time...

Since I wrote here!!
Well, I'm not going to tell you again I'm busy, because I'm and you already know it. I must say I prefer to go out with my friends, spend time with my family or just watch a movie instead of doing the pictures (which is obvious). But anyway!! I'll get on them this weekend and (hopefully) get some (or most) of them ready. School ends on june 20th for me and I promise that in summer I won't be that lazy to do them and it won't take that long neither.
I also went back to ballet dance classes which also takes part of my time, but I needed to do something else than studying, school and english classes. It's always good to do some exercise + I have fun dancing :)
So, for you to not blame me, I have added a silly picture of Saturday when I went out a while with my friends.

Today I went for a walk with my dog and brought my camera. I was prepared to try getting any good picture. I brought my ballet slippers (?) and took this picture. The idea just came into my mind.

I thought It'd be good to share this with you.
A Spanish couple who already had a daughter (Adopted from China some years ago) started a new adoption.
When Referral time came and they got the call the agency woman said "There's not only one" for what they replied "Oh, really? twins?" and she said "No, triplets!".
Shock time, but they didn't doubt and they accepted.
Now they have 4 beautiful girls. There has been only 1 more triplets adoption in Europe (That's what TV says, I'm not sure about US).
The video is in spanish, I know you won't understand it but I guess you'd like to see them and the happiness of their parents!!!

Let me explain myself...

Well, I think I should explain about my absence lately.

I do have pictures to edit, I do. Many of you have requested some pictures magic and even a blogmakeover, I have read every single of these requests and no, I haven't ignored them nor forget about them. Will explain myself:
School keeps me busy, I get home by 2 pm, then I eat lunch and do homework and study (Sometimes I don't end till 7 /8 pm). On Tuesdays and Thursdays I go to english classes so I spend 2 hours there.
Now to be honest when I end homework and everything I have to do I just want time for myself, my family and friends, and I feel too lazy to start editing.
Actually, I have edited some of the pictures you've sent me when I had sometime and felt like doing it(Like Addison's ones) but I'm not done with them.
Now, don't get me wrong, please. I don't want to close Blossom Memories, I don't. You all know I love photography, photo editing, scrapbooking and all those kind of things. But It's just that lately I just haven't felt about doing it.
But, now again I'm back into this and I thought I should update my blog and explain you all about my absence.
Sooooo....
I think that this weekend I'll be done with the pictures and blog makeover and you all will be able to enjoy some Blossom Memories work again.

Today is Courtney's birthday. She's 10 years old today.

I'm so glad I met so many of you (blogger friends), because like I've said some times before you all are so nice and sweet and if I need something all of you will lend me a hand.
I'm so happy I met Denna. Denna is so sweet and funny, she'll talk to me and try to cheer me up anytime I'm a bit down.
But, also, I'm so glad I met Courtney. Courtney is so sweet and funny, I sometimes chat with Courtney and I understand why Denna calls her Chatterbox, with Courtney you can't get bored!!! She'll talk about anything.

Courtney I hope you had a great time with your friends on Saturday. I'm so glad I met you!
Remember to always believe in yourself no matter what the rest say because after all everyone will always have something bad to say. Be happy and enjoy every second of your life.
And, don't forget, anytime you need to talk about anything I'm here!

Since some of you have been asking where I am, I decided to add a new post to explain why I haven't been posting.
I have had my final tests these weeks so I have been so busy studying. So, no worries, I'm fine, just pretty tired LOL. I think my brain is going to explode with so much information LOL.
Well, I just have 1 more test, which is tomorrow.
So, after tomorrow I'll be free of tests. I have some pictures that people have sent me so hopefully I'll be able to edit them and post them.

So, last sunday I went with my best friend, her sister and another friend to the beach to take pictures, we were able to see the sunset and take a few pictures of it. We spent there all evening, I got so many sand in my clothes but It didn't bother me LOL.
Here you can see some of the pictures (I took over 267 with my camera). Some pictures here are taken by me and some by my friend.
Hope you like them! I really like the sunglasses one.
P.S: Tests start next week, I have been studying lots of chemistry, I think I'm gonna dream about chemistry tonight LOL.

Nope, I didn't forget Brooke's Birthday... I came from school camping last wednesday (It was her birthday then) and I didn't have time to end the slideshow. On thursday and friday I was ill and on saturday It was Carnival Parade...

A bit sick...but yet...

I'm a bit sick. My throat is hurting, on friday I had a bit of fever and I almost couldn't talk. On Saturday I felt better thought my throat was still hurting a bit...It's Carnival here and yesterday it was this uhm "Carnival Parade" I went there with my best friend and a few friends. My best friend and me dressed up like mimes, by that time (in the picture) our make up was a bit gone LOL. I had lots of fun, today I don't stop coughing though!!
I'm going to make the slideshow tomorrow, I just havent had time. I came home from the camping on wednesday and on thursday I started to feel sick. Today I'm much better (ignoring that I can't stop coughing).

P.S: On that picture we are just being silly.
P.S1: People who we didn't know would say "Hey!!" and we would wave, they would say then "Why don't you talk?" and my best friend would answer "We're mimes silly ¬¬" LOL. Oh well. We had fun!

I took this picture on friday by 7.40 am. I looked through the window before going to the car while I was getting dressed for school, and I saw the sky...I decided to take my camera to the car, made mom stop the car and took some pictures. This is my favourite one!!
I'm going to a camping with school from Monday till Wednesday, so maybe some of you will miss my comments on your blog ;)

Those are some pictures I've been taking in the past days. I hope you like them. I'm learning some more each day of the camera, It's easier than I thought but still hard. I guess it will take time till I learn to use it the best.
You'll think that's funny but my dog poses now everytime I point my camera to hin, I think that afterall he knows he can't runaway so he does it so I let him go LOL!

First week of school was ok, I was waking up around 11 am everyday on holidays (sometimes even 13pm) so now It's way too hard to wake up at 6.50!!! Phew, I'm so sleepy all day long LOL. I have a bit of anemia so I need to take this iron medicine each day (Anemia makes me so sleepy) but even thought I take that thing I'm soooo sleepy the whole day. Why can't school start at 10 am?? That's a nice time...So I can wake up at 9 or at 8.30... LOL
Whatever, I already have lots of homework, but this time I won't get stressed LOL. I guess tomorrow will be a loooong homework day, but anyway.

I've been dreaming for 3 nights now that someone runs after me and I runaway from that person. It's always different, one night It was a man who I don't know at all, the next day it was a cow (I know pretty weird LOL) and the last night was a group of chinese policemen!
I looked it up at the Internet (Meaning to the dreams) and It said that if I get save at the end (meaning they don't get me) means something good will happen to me soon. Afterall I don't know if believe it since in september I dreamt for 1 week that I had a baby sister, I looked it up and it said "You wish you would have a baby sister" OK!!! That's pretty obvious!! and I already know that, so yeah, those things don't really help if they tell you what you already know.
Ok, after my ramble LOL.

The flower pictures were taken today, It was raining this morning so I took pictures of the flowers with water on them. They're mom's flowers, no idea what flowers they are LOL (I guess most of you know better than me)

So yesterday It was the three wise men, so Christmas is over and tomorrow I start school :( :( :( I think I have pos-holidays depression! Just kidding, I just don't want to start school, the holidays passed by way too fast.
As for the presents: I got clothes (a girl can never get enough clothes ;) ), pj's, socks and underwear, a tv screen and a dvd player for my room, Anne Geddes sheets for my bed, a new bag for school, a frame and a jewerly box. My uncle also gave me a card with 60€ to spend on clothes. :)
I didn't expect anything but clothes since I got the reflex camera and It was expencive so I got surprised when I saw the tv screen and the DVD player!
Anyway, right now I'm reading a book for english class which I was supposed to read on holidays but as you see I didn't LOL. I have to be finished by Wednesday ;)

-As you see in the first one I changed the background, I turned it all into black and white and added butterflies, shiny and some clouds. All brushes are from DeviantArt.
-In the second one I changed the background, I took away the leaves from Caitlyn's shoulder and caitlyns hands and made it look like her body and her t-shirt (how??? Magic!!! :D) I added a butterfly in her hands and added this spots thing (LOL) to her right side and some clouds.All the brushes are from DeviantArt.

*So I wanted to do some Photomanipulation as I did back then with Brooke (You can see it HERE). I've said to Connie many times that I love how she takes pictures and she has told me I can ask her for pictures whenever I want to (I won't get tired of saying Connie is really sweet!).
Yesterday I emailed her asking for this pictures and she sent me them and...TADA! Here they are now, I really love how they turned out and I'm so glad with the end :)

Well, as for me, I went to my grandmothers house to celebrate New years eve, arrived home at 2 am and didn't go to bed till 5 am. So, yeah, I was so tired yesterday.
Today I'm going out with my friend and tell I'll visit my cousins.

So...here in my house they say my dog is going to get blind by my camera flash LOL...But hey, he's the only one who can't talk and complain about me taking pictures!!!!!!
And I don't have any little sibling or anything :( I think my 3 years old cousin will have to scape from me and my camera on new years eve :)
I also took this nice picture of my mom, but She won't let me post it here! I love how it turned out!!
So...by now I can annoy my dog...my Christmas ornaments... and my best friend.. even thought she loves pictures.
and YES!!! I posted a picture of me *everyone clapping and surprised there* LOL
It's me (black hair, white t-shirt) and my best friend (green t-shirt, white glasses.)...I didn't take it, her sister did but I just love that picture so I post it!

Well, so I'm going to explain you how are Christmas here since they are different than there :)

Here we get presents on December 24th and January 6th.
On December 24th it's when Santa comes here. At the beginning, Santa didn't exist here, we got this costum from US and other places in Europe. Here, Santa comes the 24th at night. We have a dinner with our family and then give each other a present, just 1 or 2 presents, the same night not the next morning.
When I was small after dinner me and my cousins played with toys and then "someone" knocked on the door (Santa), we run to the door and found the presents outside. I remember how nervous and exited I got about Santa :).
Now that me and my cousins are older they give us our present, but we just get 1 or 2 presents that day.

On January 6th It's when The Three Wise Men come.
Where I live is a bit different than in the rest of Spain, because they really care about details so kids have fun.
On January 5th at morning many kids go with their parents to the harbour and the "Tree wise men" come in a ship from "somewhere" to the harbour [See pictures here]. All kids wait there so they can give them their Wish lists and give them a hug or shake their hands.
An official from here give them the "Key of the city" so they can open each house and let the presents there ;)
On January 5th night there's a cavalcade (I'm not sure if you say it that way) on the street where the "Three wise men" goes and give candy to the kids, also take some Wish Lists and some Passeys ;) ;) [See pictures here]
On January 6th morning we wake up to find our presents (kinda many) and open them :)

Tests are ooooover!!!! YES! and I'm a happy person!!!
They also gave me the grade of my english test and my philosophy (sp?) test I got: 9,4 in english and 9 in philosophy (sp?) [In Spain grades are from 0 to 10, 0 to 1 is ungraded (Bad) and from 5 to 10 its graded(good), So I think It's like "A" in US???or is it just in England??, No idea, I study british english not american LOL]
Anyway so, It was my last test and I got two GREAT grades so we can say I'm happy!

Well, I didn't have school yesterday nor today, so I took a little time to do a fast blog makeover (Christmas makeover).
Somethings about Christmas are different here, when I end my tests (which will be next friday), I'm going to make a post about Christmas here.
I've maths test on monday, english on tuesday, biology on thursday and spanish on friday.
So, yes, I'm pretty busy.

So, I know I said I was taking a break, actually, I'm taking one. But since I check my favourites blog as often as I can I noticed today It's Ana Claire's birthday!!!
And of course, I should make her a Happy Birthday post.
When I started this blog I edited my own pictures and AnnaClaire's pictures, when Lisa saw my work at AnnaClaire's blog she decided to email me with some pictures. I edited them to her and they looked so nice (You can see them HERE). After she post them at her blog I started to get more and more people asking me to edit! So we can say that the first "Offical" pictures were AnaClaire's ones (I also edited for AnnaClaire's sister before but It wasn't nothing official, like she emailed me and ask me to I did because I wanted and she really liked it :))

I've been pretty busy this week, so, please don't blame me because I haven't updated LOL!
I wanted to make a quick update to let you know that tomorrow or on Sunday I'll update new pictures that I've been working in. I know, I've been slow and I'm sorry to that people who has been waiting but I have too much homework lately.
So, hopefully, they will be ready tomorrow or by sunday.
I saw that picture at Denna's blog and I fell in love with it (Of course, it's my Brooke) and since I needed a quick update on my blog I edited it in 5 minutes (yes 5 LOL) and here I am, adding it here. When I saw that picture I knew I wanted to do something with it.
So well, why did I need to do a quick update on my blog?:
1st I haven't updated in "ages" (LOL)
2nd I wanted to let you know I'm alive and I haven't forgotten the pictures.
3rd To let you know that you have just 2 days to send me pictures to Christmas cards becaaaauuuse I'm taking a break from Blossom Memories on Monday till December 14th.
I have the final temester tests, a test for every lesson, about 4 units for every lesson and 2 hours for each test!!! I think I'll even stay home next weekend to study... If my mom lets me...LOL Yeah, you read good. Sometimes I sit for hours to study and she think It's good I go out a bit to get my head clear a bit because I get stressed too fast!!!!
Whatever, after rambling a bit...

Sandra Sheldon is in China to adopt her daughter Hannah. While on the trip with her, her husband died. The adoption had been finalized before Dennis died. The US Consulate in Guangzhou has denied Sandi Sheldon permission to proceed with the adoption of Hannah. They want her to fill out a new I-171 and are making no guarantees after that. Sandi, of course does not want to leave China and leave Hannah here because she has no where to go. Sandi needs your help desperately! Please contact the State Department and straighten this out. Sandi should not be denied Hannah's adoption because her husband passed away unexpectedly. I know you care deeply about children. Anything you can do to help this family would be appreciated by all of us who have traveled like this to get our children.

I made that for Denna. She took pictures of Brooke in her pink chinese outfit and her red chinese outfit. I fixed that scrapbook page for Denna yesterday because she ask me to and I love how It turned out!!!
I'm going to do one with her red outfit soon.
I used the asian elements that Connie gave me :-) Except the Latterns, I had to make them by my own using different pictures because the asian elements just had red latterns!!!

This is Grace, her mom sent me those pictures of her to edit. I had to make the black/white and colour because they wouldn't look good in sepia and colour. I like how they turned out! Isn't Grace a doll???
I made a scrapbook page for her too. Since I had to make them all black/white and colour I wanted to do something special to one of them, so I made the scrapbook page.
This is one of the new things I'm adding to my effects, digital scrapbooking pages with poems/sentences that you like.
I'll make another post today to let you know the new things I'm adding to the blog effects.

This is Maddie again! Her mom wanted me to turn her bow, clothes ribbons and socks green and red...Actually it looks Green and orange, I tried everything to make it look red but somehow It always would turn orange. I like it this way too but I kinda got sad because It didn't turn red!
I'll make a post soon about new things that I'll be adding to my blog... I mean, things I'll start to do. I think it's being always the same: black/white colour, sepia/colour and red thread. I want to add new things, so I'll let you know tomorrow :-)

I was tired of my old look...So I gave Blossom Memories a new look. I might change the sides colours because It looks so dark, so I'm still playing a bit with the background.
I'm enjoying making blog makeovers, so, if someone wants a blog makeover, email me LOL.

***I finally tried polka dots as Connie said. She was so sweet and sent me 4 scrapbook backgrounds. I tried them all but they didn't fit because they were black and cream (not white), so the header wouldn't fit.
I edited the black background I had adding dots, I like how it looks now...What do you think??

Happy Halloween everyone!!!
I hope you all got the card I made, It was nothing special, I just wanted to give you something.
Several people ask me if we celebrate Halloween here, actually we don't, some people goes to parties to pubs etc...and where I live, they made a party for the kids with candy and costumes... But kids don't go trick or treating, we don't go to pumpkin patch, we don't carve pumpkins and we don't decorate our house!!!
Actually, we have carnival here, which is in february (well this year It starts in January).
I guess I'll teach you some about Carnival when It comes the time.
I'm sorry if I forgot to send the Card to someone, I've too many emails at my Blossom Memories Inbox !!!

Well, I downloaded some Halloween Scrabooking... So, you all, take pictures of your kids in their costumes today!!! (I guess you will), and if you want something special to it, send me and I'll do some magic and scrapbooking.

P.S: Denna told me that you all loved the Bubble Gum pictures of Brooke, if You want one, Just take a picture of your kid next to a Bubble Gum machine and send me LOL. I think It will become as famous as the Red Thread....LOL

It's AnnaClaire's 2nd birthday today, her first birthday with her forever family!
AnnaClaire is such a funny and sweet little girl.
AnnaClaire's blog was one of the first blogs I visited. When I was learning to do the Black/white and colour effect I used an AnnaClaire picture for it and then, sent it to her sister Emily.
I started emailing with Emily and after sometime I ask her if she thought it was a good idea open a blog, she told me it was a so good idea, so I did.
So, we can say that everything started with little Miss AnnaClaire.
I hope she has the best birthday party ever with her family!!!

This cutie is called Abigail. Heather, her mother, sent me those pictures of her to add red thread, She has seen my work before and She likes it. I made them black/white and colour and later added the red thread. I saved them both ways because maybe She would like them without red thread too!!!

This is my eye, LOL. I took that picture with my digital camera macro zoom...This zoom makes pictures look great, too bad It just works when you took pictures very near. I want a reflex camera, I'm asking for one for Christmas, will show you a picture of the camera I want, I can't wait to get it!!!
I loved how that picture turned out, I made something in Photoshop so It would look better and I love how it looks, so I decided to share it with you all.

This cutie is Olivia, she was adopted in 2004 so that picture is from back then. Her mommy liked what I did with the picture of Brooke, so I did the same for her :-).
I love how it turned out and I love the picture she sent, It's such a sweet picture.

This pretty girl is Emilee Madison Jin Xiu, her mom sent me those pictures of her so I would enhace them.
As I told her, they're great pictures, I think she did a great job taking them. I love how they turned out.
I know I posted the one of Emilee sitting on the grass 2 times, because in 1 she's got wings (I added them) but not in the other, I love how it looks too. Each day I love even more to edit pictures and even more if they're so good taken. I wonder if there's any work where you could do those kind of things. Maybe at Disney, LOL.

I think she chose great pictures for it, my favourite is the one of Caitlyn standing with the red thread around her.

These cute girls are Courtney and Brooke (Denna's daughters). They're special to me because Denna is a good friend of mine. They are my little ones.

I was chatting with Courtney yesterday and she told me "I wish you were one of my sisters" (I know, that's so sweet) So, I told her "Let's pretend I'm your big sister, O.K." :-)
She got so excited and happy about it (Ask Denna about it if LOL).
So from now they're my "little sisters" I just love them and Denna. That's so sad I live so far from them, Denna joked about I'm now her adopted daughter too... So I told her I'm waiting for "Gotcha Day" to meet them LOL.
I see you all there reading this in front of your computer... and I wonder...
Who wants to buy me two tickets to Alabama? WHO?

Today was kinda a busy day, I went to my grandparents house and then I went to see my cousin's baby (He's 1 month old).
I was holding him and he cried... So I started moving him slowly, so he would stop....and he fell asleep in my arms LOL My cousin thought It was too cute so she took a picture with her camera, will try to get that picture sometime LOL. Have I told you that I'm good with babies and kids?
When I was 12 I did the same with my mom's friends' babies.

Well, maybe I was a bit slow but I've been a bit stressed and tired lately.
Before I start I want to say Thanks to Denna for being there and being so sweet to me!

Now, lets get started, there are 10 questions...

*Denna asks: When is your birthday?
My birthday is June 8th. (I was born in 1991)
*Denna asks again: What are some of your hobbies?
I like photography and photo editing. As I told you, I’m getting a reflex camera for Christmas. Also like going to cinema. I LOVE listening to music, even when I’m doing homework I start to sing (though I don’t sing so good) LOL
I also love to play with the little kids. When I’ve babysat my neighbours before I always play with them to baby dolls and all that stuff LOL. I also think they can teach you so interesting things with what they say.

*Connie (mommy24treasures) asks: How did you get interested in photo editing?
Well, My brother had Photoshop CS, he told me it was great and he installed it in my Laptop. It was like 2 years ago or so…
I started to learn things by my own, you know to do things with my pictures and my friend’s pictures.

*Connie asks again: Have you always lived in Spain? Do you think you always will?
Yes, I’ve always lived in Spain. I’m not sure. Well, my best friend is from Sweden, she’s gonna move here when she ends university (maybe). So, I’m not sure if I’d always live here… I’d like to live in London, but who knows… I’m a mommy’s girl I guess I’d be all the time calling my mom LOL.

Lisas questions LOL:

*Do you have a boyfriend? No, I don’t, never had one before.
*What does a girl your age look for in a boy? Well, I don’t know all girls but I’ll tell you about me. Well, you must think I care a lot about the looks. Well I don’t, yeah I care about it, but that’s not the most important. I like boys who are nice, smart, sweet… Also that care about how they talk, I mean there are boys my age who talk SO bad, There’s a pretty nice vocabulary you can use you know? LOL
One important think is that they’re mature, according to their age… There are boys who act being 4 years younger than they are…
If they share my hobbies It’d be really nice. Oh, I also like that they’re funny… am I asking for too much?
Now something random….Emo boys are cool! LOL.

*Beside enhancing photos, when you hang out with your friends what do you enjoy doing? Well, We like going to the beach, going to the shopping center…Or just go to a park, sit down there and talk for hours… We don’t need too much to have fun! LOL

*I know you said that you were interested in China adoption, what drew you to this?
Interesting question. Well that part is kinda blurry for me LOL.
Well, of Europe, Spain is the second country with so many International adoptions.
Here you can see many adopted kids and most of Chinese little girls.
When I was small I always said they were so cute LOL
I kinda think I’ve always thinking in adopt, I think there are many kids who need parents love and of course, they’ll give the parents so much more love!.
I’ve always been interested in China adoption, honestly I don’t know why… Maybe I’m meant to do this and that’s why I have always been interested in it. I’ve always been so interested in China one child politics (if you say it that way?). When I was about 13 I had to make a work at school about China, and once again I was so interested in it. Then I got to know better about politics/ policy (still wonder whats the Word that goes there).
That just really surprised me.
So yeah, I’ve always been so captivated about it, without a reason. One day I searched at the Internet and saw Sophie Lu’s adoption video, that made me cry…
I mean, that doesn’t happen to everybody, maybe someone watch it and thinks “It’s cute” or just can’t understand it…But I understood the feeling and started to cry, I just thought it was such something sweet.
I started to see blogs and all. And here you got me… I’m all sure I want to adopt and from China… I think that when I’ve to start paperwork and psicologist visits they might won’t believe it all LOL But It all is true… I don’t know, maybe It’s my destiny to adopt from China and that’s why I always had that in my mind…

I’ve friends all over the world:
My best friend who lives in Sweden (She has been here several times before)

My best friend, S., K. and me are planning going together to London in Summer 2009, we’re saving some money for that and all… Hope I can do it!!!

Well, I've seen that in another blogs, just that with 20 questions. But I don't have that many blog readers...Each person can ask me 2 questions about me that I'll answer in the next post (If I don't think they are too private).
If there are more than 10 it doesn't matter, I'll answer all.
I think you probably have some, if you don't... then think... about music, school, hobbies, clothes, friends... They can even be about what I think about something... like adoption, religion...etc etc.

Becki, saw the pictures I made for Lisa and She ask me to edit those of her beautiful daughter, Addison.
At first She sent them too small so they didn't work to post here. She sent me them again yesterday and I edited them.
I really like how they turned out. Addison has such a cute smile! The first and the second pictures are my favourites.

I think that by adding "Blossom Memories" to them makes them look more proffesional LOL.

What do you think so? I LOVE THEM!!
They look like from a fantasy movie. Disney LOL.
The Sepia and colour fits so good in them. Tess's mom sent me them. She said She's a Lisa's friend and She'd like me to do that. I told her that if I were her, I'd frame them! I just love how they turned out.
Also, You'll notice that in the bottom corner of each picture (right or left, it depends lol) i wrote "Blossom Memories". Now I've started to do that, because anyone can save that picture and say that they've made it... Well, so by now, all pictures will have it.

Well, It's friday (GOD BLESS FRIDAY LOL) I don't think I'll be doing homework today, I need some free time!!
Someone else sent me pictures and I edited them, but They were too small. So that person will be sending me them again and I'll post them :)

About High School.
It's going well, just many homework. I've made friends and I really like the people in my class.
They've been nice to me, so I don't feel so alone LOL (most of them knew each other since they were smaller).

Busy, yeah I said B U S Y

School started on Monday and I already have homework!
Well my chemistry teacher seems to be a bit crazy....He taught us a chapter in ONE LESSON...I repeat ONE LESSON (55 minutes). Then He made us do 5 tacks as homework. After reading the chapter and understand what I had to do in the tasks (which took me 1 and a half hour) I made them (which took me another hour). Today we correct them at the blackboard...I had them all good, but not so many people did, almost no one understood them.
What a surprise that he expained them and informed us that on TUESDAY (yes, next tuesday) We have the test/exam of that...
Also I had to do 10 tasks (10 exercises) of spanish Language and literature and another 5 tasks (5 exercises) of maths...
ALSO, I had to go today to a school where I'll be studying English on Mondays and Wednesdays afternoons...
Yeah, I'm busy...So now you all know why I haven't blog...
Some people has sent me pictures to edit... I'm trying my best, just don't have that much time...
Right now i have a big headache!

Here are just some. My favourite ones. There were too many Photoshop actions that I can do, so I just chose my favourite ones. If you want something else, you can ask and I'll try to show you the most of them.
But those are my favourites by now.
Also say...when you want Black/white and colour DO NOT send a picture with the outfit in White or black because then you won't see any different...Just if I change the colour of the outfit!

Sonya , Katie Lin's mom, sent me those pictures of her cute daughter after She saw how I edited Ana Claire's ones.
I made sepia and colour again. I'm starting to use it more often. It's kinda harder than Black/white and colour though.
I like how they turned out. I love the picture of Katie Lin hugging her pandas! So cute!

I started school yesterday. I was there for 45 minutes. It was ok. I didn't talk to anyone LOL, didn't really have the time. On monday i start with normal timing, I hope I start to meet my class mates.

I want to send many hugs from here to Denna, She's not having a good time. Please pray for her and her family.

This is Brooke, you all know her. She's my little one! She has such a cute smile in that picture.
Her mom, my friend Denna, isn't having a good time now. Her grandmother is very ill and the nurses told her family that she's dying.

...You don't have a little sister LOL, Put bows on your male dog... Poor him LOL. When I was 11 I used to make him wear dolls dresses and let him walk around the house in them...After 10 mins, I usually heard "MELANIE WHAT DID YOU DO TO BLACKY?" Yeah...Mom always noticed late :)

Doesn't she look so sweet in that picture? Lisa sent me it and ask if I could make some of my magic to them. In the first one i made sepia and colour. In the second. one i added the black frame and changed the image Curves of dark/light so It would look more proffesional. I like how it turned out, I think she looks so cute in that costume!!

Finally!!!! I've been sometime trying to find out how to make the pictures Sepia with colour. I tried for a while the other day and finally i got it =) So, now you can ask for black/white and colour or Sepia and colour. What do you think so?
Also, you can ask for just Sepia. I downloaded some Photoshop Actions at www.deviantart.com
I'll be showing you them soon. They're really good and It's easy to use them, because practically they make all the work LOL.
Of course, I used Brooke for that project:
1st reason: Because i love that picture.
2nd reason: Because I know it's not a problem for Denna lol.
I'm starting school on Friday...I'm going to High School, I don't know anyone there LOL. When school starts I'll be slower with my work.
